Trend Report: 3D Florals

Today, we’re focusing on one of the exciting new wedding dress trends of 2023...3D florals! They give you all the femininity of a floral print with an elevated element (pun intended). Some flowers cover the whole look, while others stand alone, but they’re all stunning. Take a look at some of our favorites, and scroll to the end for some NK originals!

Marchesa

Wendy Craig once said, “One rose says more than the dozen.” This pretty-in-pink dress may have two, but we think they say a lot! While this might not technically be a wedding dress, we don’t see why it can’t be. It ties in another 2023 wedding dress trend too...color!

Amsale

Odds are, you’ve seen this dress pop up in your feed recently. It could very well be a hot commodity this year, and for good reason. The delicately-crafted flowers in these soft colors are definitely a sight to behold!

Berta

We swear we’ve seen these gowns “once upon a dream.” Couldn’t you just picture a modern-day Aurora wearing these? In her 20 years of experience, Berta has never missed, and we don’t see it happening in the next 20 either!

Gemy Maalouf

Sometimes, the essence of a flower is all you need. With a different spin on the trend, this designer covered his collection in a plethora of petals. It’s almost as if they were carried by the wind and landed perfectly on the gowns. Talk about winds of destiny!

Jesus Peiro

Loving how Jesus Peiro experimented, not only, with the proportions of the flowers but of the entire outfits. And it’s not every day you see a wedding romper! So, if you’re looking for something with a unique cut and floral focal point, you know where to find it.

Naeem Khan

Everything’s prettier in pastel pink. Known for dressing Michelle Obama, Naeem Khan does it again with his ornate elegance. Notice how the flowers in the first look create a pattern of their own. The power of placement!

Sachin & Babi

Isolating the flowers to one area can really make them stand out and accentuate certain features. Take the second look, for instance. It draws your eyes to the shoulder while creating a slim fit on the lower body, making it flattering to any figure!

Rosie Assoulin

“Daisy, Daisy, we’re half crazy” over how cool these looks are! Rosie Assoulin somehow managed to give the flowers a hard, edgy look in some ensembles while keeping them in their soft, natural state in others. Quite the selection for the unconventional bride!

Grace Lane London

These flower patches hit in all the right places, much like the deep V-neck and plunging back of this gown. Tie in the matching veil, and you have a complete floral display. Too many “wow” factors to count!

Lastly, what you’ve all been waiting for, our own take on the trend (before it was trendy, might we add)! We love the subtle color variations of the flowers like they were picked straight from a meadow. From soft-girl vibes to rocker-girl vibes, our leather jacket is a distinctive piece you won’t find anywhere else!
